What You'll Do About the role As a Architecture Director, you will lead and deliver enterprise architecture solutions, technology strategy, CIO/CTO advisory and overall IT Architecture steering for our clients across diverse industries. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities and translate them into cutting-edge technology enablers. You will also steer the definition of target architecture across domains of channels, digital enablers, applications, integration, cloud, infrastructure, data and security. Additionally, you will need to have a strong sense of tech teams leadership and operating with heavy client facing exposure. Responsabilities As a Architecture Director, you will work closely with our clients´ executive leadership teams to address their most critical technology challenges, shape enterprise IT strategies, and design next-generations architecture landscapes. You will drive buy-in for your recommendations and guide BCG Platinion case teams to transform client ambition into tangible business performance. You will architect and roll-out tailored IT strategies, digital platforms and modernization roadmaps that leverage state-of-the-art tools and approaches such as cloud computing, advanced data & AI, and core systems transformation. A core focus of your role will be the financial services industry (banking & insurance) where you will lead complex transformation programs, from core banking/insurance platform modernization to digital channel enablement and data-driven architectures. What You'll Bring • At least 12 years of professional experience in IT strategy and consulting, enterprise architecture, or large-scale IT transformation programs, • Significant track record in the financial services industry (banking and/or insurance), leading core platform transformations, digital channels, payments, or insurance platforms, • Relevant consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm or in a senior architecture role in a leading financial or insurance organization., • Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills, strong customer focus and mental agility with results orientation, • Experience engaging with and advising C-level executives on strategic technology decisions, • Ability to define and present target architecture models, MVP architectures, and modernization roadmaps, • Strong business acumen, with the ability to frame technology in terms of business impact, • Proven leadership experience: hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. Alongside defining architecture functions operating models., • Experience in writing and presenting thought leadership, • Preferred industry focus: Banking & insurance, with additional exposure to other sectors valued, • Strong professional presence, with the ability to build trusted relationships and drive business development, • Ability to work under pressure and willingness to travel world-wide, • High professional and rigorous, results-oriented, driven and hard-working, • Spanish is mandatory, • Have excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, • A University degree with above average academic performance in a STEM related field or business management Who You'll Work With • BCG Managing Directors and Partners (MDP’s), • PLA Managing Directors (MD’s), • BCG Consultants at all level, • PLA Consultants at all level, • Clients, vendors, and partners Boston Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
