They interact primarily with the Medical Unit team, with whom they must establish effective communication. Nonetheless, their role is also transversal within the organisation, enabling them to contribute their scientific knowledge to any area. /ppbr/ppstrongemMajor Accountabilities where this role is involved: /em /strong /ppbr/pulliDevelopment of Savana Research Study Protocols: drafting the analysis strategy for each study objective, calculation of minimum sample size. /liliPlanning and development of Statistical Analysis Plans to fulfill the requirements reflected in Savana Research Study Protocols. /liliDevelopment of new analytic strategies/pipelines to improve and maintain the Clinical Data Science analysis workflow. /liliData cleansing, wrangling/munging from raw data to analysis-ready data formats. /liliSupport in the development of NLP models and in the analysis of NLP model output. /liliProviding scientific support across the organisation. /liliPerformance of statistical analysis, application of different statistical methods ranging from descriptive to inferential. Graphical presentation of results. /liliDevelopment of multivariable explicative and predictive models. Development and maintenance of machine-learning frameworks for model training and validation. /liliKnowledge of explainability and uncertainty calculation of predictive models. /liliPresentation of analysis results to different audiences (internal staff, reports to clients, etc). /li /ulpbr/ppstrongemInformation Security Management System Responsibilities /em /strong /ppbr/pulliEnsure familiarity with and adherence to the organization's information security policies and procedures. /liliParticipate in regular information security training sessions to stay updated on potential threats and necessary security measures. /liliPromptly report any security incidents or vulnerabilities to the designated function within the organization. /liliMaintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information by following best practices for data handling and protection; including using strong passwords, encrypting sensitive data, regularly updating software, and promptly reporting any security incidents. /li /ulpbr/ppstrongemQuality Management System Responsibilities: /em /strong /ppbr/pulliAdhere to Savana’s Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. /liliParticipate in and complete assigned training activities. /liliIdentify and report any deviations from controlled processes or regulations. /liliWork closely with the Quality Team to resolve Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), deviations, and audit findings as deemed applicable. /liliContribute to the maintenance and review of Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and Application Manuals (AMs) related to team activities as applicable. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppstrongemSkills, Experience and Qualifications required: /em /strong /ppbr/pulliUniversity degree in a strong quantitative field (mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science) or university degree in biomedical field (medicine, biology, pharmacy) with a master’s degree or PhD with strong quantitative component (statistics, bioinformatics, epidemiology, etc). /liliStrong academic background with experience in grant proposals and scientific paper publications, preferably in the field of clinical prediction / survival analysis.
