The Manpower Recruitment Agency of Sophia Antipolis is exclusively supporting the European Society of Cardiology in its 2026 recruitment activities. As part of the development of its European activities, the ESC is seeking a EU Projects Manager to oversee the operational implementation of projects funded by the European Union and to actively contribute to the development of new strategic initiatives related to cardiovascular research. Your Responsibilities : 1. Management of EU‑funded projects • Ensure the daily coordination of projects: monitoring schedules, budgets, and deliverables., • Collaborate with partners, the consortium, and ESC bodies., • Prepare reports, deliverables, communication materials, and dissemination content., • Organize meetings, events, workshops, and ensure project visibility (website, newsletters, social media)., • Identify collaboration opportunities to maximize project impact. 2. Development of new funding opportunities • Identify relevant European calls for proposals and assess their strategic fit., • Contribute to the preparation and submission of high‑quality proposals., • Ensure the involvement of ESC experts and structures in project design., • Support the entire project lifecycle: contracting, reporting, coordination. Desired Profile Key Skills • Solid experience in managing European projects (H2020, Horizon Europe, EU4Health): proposal preparation, drafting, budget monitoring, and reporting., • Very good knowledge of EU procedures and funding mechanisms., • Excellent writing skills in English and proficiency with digital communication tools., • Ease in coordinating partners, managing networks, and handling work packages., • Autonomy, proactivity, and attention to detail., • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills., • Strong organizational abilities, versatility, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously., • Master’s degree (BAC+5) in a relevant field (European studies, political science, public health, project management…)., • Minimum 5 years of experience in EU project management, research, and innovation., • Proven experience in international consortia.
