We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to support our central production kitchen. Duties include washing dishes and equipment, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas, assisting with basic food prep, and following hygiene and safety standards. The ideal candidate is hardworking, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Who you will be: • Previous experience as a KP within a high-volume restaurant, • Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks, • Cleaning the entire kitchen once it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day, • Maintaining the food storage areas: freezers and refrigerators, • Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen, • Washing dirty dishes like cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans or loading dishes into the dishwasher, • Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly, • Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment: cookers, pots and food mixers, • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team, • Keen attention to detail in maintaining the highest levels of service Who we are: Café François is a bustling local canteen with style, where there is something for everyone.
