Role: Employment Solicitor (0-2PQE) Firm: Top Legal 500 Location: Edinburgh Salary: up to £75,000 (DOE) Simpson Judge have partnered with a one of UK's leading law practises who are looking for a bright and motivated solicitor (0–2 PQE) to join their highly regarded Employment team ranked among the leading practices in the UK. The Work The team advises on the full spectrum of employment law, and you’ll gain exposure to both contentious and non-contentious matters, including: • Employment disputes: handling tribunal litigation, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, and complex multi-party claims., • Advisory work: drafting employment contracts, service agreements, policies, and advising on disciplinaries, grievances, and senior exits., • Business change projects: supporting clients on TUPE, redundancies, outsourcing, restructures, and collective consultation processes., • Corporate support: advising on the employment aspects of transactions, including due diligence and integration planning., • Workplace issues: advising on equality, diversity and inclusion, whistleblowing, data subject access requests, and investigations., • Strategic matters: supporting on industrial relations, trade union negotiations, pay and compliance issues, and immigration/global mobility. You’ll work closely with experienced partners and associates who are recognised leaders in the field, giving you the chance to learn, take responsibility early, and make a meaningful contribution. About You We’re looking for someone who brings: • 0–2 years’ PQE in employment law, • Strong academics and solid technical ability., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • A client-focused, commercial mindset., • Genuine enthusiasm for employment law and a desire to build a long-term career in this field.
