Electronics Engineer – Birmingham – £45,000+ An opportunity has arisen with a growing engineering manufacturer supplying precision-engineered systems into high-spec, safety-critical sectors. Electronics Engineer responsibilities include – • Developing and optimising manufacturing processes from concept to production., • Assessing production processes, collecting data, and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains., • Designing, testing, and upgrading mechanical and automated systems, including batch operations., • Leading the introduction and commissioning of new equipment on site., • Creating clear documentation, SOPs, and process control plans., • Implementing and maintaining 5S and other lean methodologies across production areas., • Collaborating with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve process issues., • Supporting NPI and design activities with process data and operational feedback. Electronics Engineer desirable skills and experience – • Experience in a similar role: Electronics Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer, or Production Engineer., • Proven background in process optimisation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement., • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ERP/MRP systems, and data-driven analysis., • Exposure to PCB, electronics, chemical handling, or automotive manufacturing.
