Job Description: Registered Manager – EBD children’s home\n\nAccountable to: Operations Director (Nominated Individual), Senior Leadership Team\n\nHours of Employment: Full time – 40 hours per week, plus on call duties as required to meet the needs of the organisation. \n\nSalary: £42-47k per annum plus bonus scheme.\n\nAnnual Leave: 28 days annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.\n\nOrganisation Overview:\n\nOur client is currently a small, EBD children provider, providing care to vulnerable children with varying needs. This role plays a crucial part in creating a safe and nurturing environment that supports the personal growth and development of the service users in our service.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n1. Management and Leadership:\n\nProvide strong leadership and supervision to all staff members.\nFoster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting teamwork and professional development.\nEnsure staff adherence to policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.\n2. Operations and Compliance:\n\nOversee the daily operations of the facility, including safety, maintenance, and resource allocation.\nEnsure strict adherence to OFFSTED regulations and compliance with relevant legislation and quality standards.\nCollaborate with regulatory bodies during inspections and audits, ensuring all requirements are met.\n3.Service User Support and Welfare:\n\nEnsure the well-being, safety, and positive development of all service users.\nOversee case management processes, including assessments, support plans, and progress monitoring.\nAddress critical incidents and provide crisis intervention as needed.\n4. Staff Development:\n\nIdentify training needs and provide or facilitate training and professional development opportunities for staff.\nConduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.\nManage staffing levels, recruitment, and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.\n5. Quality Assurance:\n\nTo work closely with the quality director and their team to ensure systems and processes are embedded across the service.\nImplement and monitor quality assurance systems to track and improve service delivery.\nEvaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to enhance service user’s outcomes.\n6. Financial Management:\n\nLiaise with the accounts manager over the service budget, including expenditure tracking and financial reporting.\nEnsure efficient resource allocation and cost-effective operations.\n7. Community Engagement:\n\nBuild and maintain positive relationships with community organisations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.\nRepresent the organisation at meetings, participate in networking events, and collaborate on community initiatives.\nAs a Registered Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of residents while adhering to strict regulatory requirements.
