Temporary Administrator – Maternity Cover (Part-Time)

About the Role We are seeking a confident and organised administrator to join our team for a fixed term of 6 months. This role is a mix of customer-facing and internal administrative work, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable communicating professionally with customers as well as supporting the wider team with day-to-day office tasks. This position would ideally suit someone with previous office or administrative experience who can work independently once trained and is confident handling enquiries. Key Responsibilities • Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries in a professional manner, • Managing and responding to emails, • Carrying out general office and administrative duties, • Data entry and maintaining accurate records, • Using internal company systems (full training provided), • Supporting colleagues with internal admin tasks as required What We’re Looking For • Previous experience in an administrative, office, or customer-facing role, • Confident telephone manner and strong communication skills, • Well-organised, reliable, and able to use initiative, • Comfortable working with internal systems and learning new processes, • Able to manage routine tasks with minimal supervision This role is best suited to someone with existing workplace experience rather than an entry-level or trainee position. Personal Assistant / Carer I am looking for a reliable, warm, and experienced Personal Assistant / Carer to support me. I am in my 60’s with a young outlook on life and enjoy keeping busy. My interests and hobbies include crafting, swimming, photography, and days out, so this role would suit someone who enjoys variety and being out and about as well as providing care at home. This is a mix of personal assistant and caring support, working in partnership to promote independence, dignity, and a full life.
