Job Overview We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support our operational functions. The successful candidate will have a strong administrative background, excellent customer service skills and experience coordinating bookings on internal systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and communicates confidently with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations team, • Book containers onto the system in line with operational requirements, • Liaise with customers to confirm bookings, provide updates, and resolve queries, • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems and spreadsheets, • Coordinate with transport providers, depots, and internal departments, • Handle customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional, timely manner, • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures, • Monitor workloads and flag any delays or issues to relevant stakeholders, • Proven experience in an administrative or operations support role, • Strong customer service background with confident communication skills, • Experience booking jobs, containers, or orders onto internal systems, • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, • Strong organisational and time management skills, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced operations or logistics environment, • Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), • Reliable and professional, • Proactive with a problem-solving mindset, • Strong work ethic, • Competitive salary (dependent on experience), • Stable and supportive team environment, • Opportunity to develop within operations and logistics
