Ideal candidate Join Iceotope as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer and lead the development of groundbreaking liquid cooling solutions for high-performance computing and AI infrastructure. We’re seeking an innovative engineer with 8+ years’ experience in mechanical design, advanced CAD skills, and a proven track record taking products from concept to production. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, drive reliability and manufacturability, and mentor others in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment. Experience in data centers, HVAC, or server housing is highly desirable. Be part of a team pioneering the future of energy-efficient, sustainable cooling technology. Key Responsibilities Concept Generation & Feasibility • Collaborate closely with product managers and multidisciplinary teams to generate innovative concepts and quickly assess their feasibility through modelling and prototyping., • Characterise and optimise the structural performance of components and systems, identifying and addressing performance-limiting factors., • Ensure all products comply with structural and regulatory requirements., • Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to achieve design objectives., • Conduct design validation and analysis, including FEA and tolerance studies., • Produce DFMEA to identify and mitigate design risks, • Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM)., • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within project teams., • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals., • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth product transition from design to production.
