Music Technology and DJ Skills Tutor • Part-time (2.5 days per week, including Saturday morning), • Location: Rotherham, • Hourly Rate: £25.61 PAYE Day-to-day of the role: • Deliver music technology and DJ skills tuition to individuals, small groups, and classes., • Plan and deliver engaging sessions aligned with Rotherham Music quality standards., • Use music technology and DJ practice to support creativity, technical skill development, and musical progression., • Maintain high expectations for all pupils and take responsibility for learning outcomes., • Prepare effectively to meet the needs of pupils of all abilities, including those with SEND., • Complete online registers, submit termly planning, and regular assessments to track pupil progress., • Provide written reports on pupil progress to schools and parents as required., • Prepare pupils for internal and external accreditation or assessment where appropriate., • Experience delivering tuition in music technology, DJ skills, or related contemporary music disciplines., • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection in schools., • Grade 8 or above on principal instrument or equivalent professional experience., • Desirable: Degree and/or teaching qualification., • Flexible working hours aligned with service needs., • Opportunity to work within a supportive team and contribute to the development of Rotherham Music., • Participation in regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
