A boutique employment law firm ranked in both Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, is seeking an interim Employment Lawyer to support its growing caseload on an ad hoc hourly basis. This is a fully remote opportunity (within the UK), with flexibility to work around your schedule. There is also scope for a permanent hire for the right candidate. About the Firm Founded by former City lawyers, the firm is known for its intellectual rigour, responsiveness, and commercial awareness. The firm advises a diverse client base—from high-net-worth individuals to national and international organisations—on the full spectrum of employment law matters. Recent work includes: • Weekly flow of 10+ settlement agreements, • Employee due diligence for large corporate transactions, • Complex disputes involving discrimination, restrictive covenants, and high court enforcement What You’ll Do You’ll work closely with senior lawyers on a variety of employment law matters, including: • Drafting and reviewing employment contracts and service agreements, • Advising on grievance and disciplinary procedures, • Negotiating senior employee exits and settlement agreements, • Handling employment tribunal claims and high court enforcement, • Providing strategic advice on TUPE, redundancy, and HR compliance Ideal Candidate Profile • UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5+ years PQE in employment law, • Strong experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters, • Comfortable working independently and remotely, • Hourly rate up between £80 - £110 (depending on experience), • Flexible engagement: ad hoc, day rate, or project-based, • Outside of IR35.
