White Label are proud to be working with a growing and well-established business in their search for a CAD Design Engineer due to continued expansion and diversification of their product offering. With multiple UK distribution sites and international manufacturing capability, the company is on a clear growth trajectory. You will work in a varied environment where no two projects are the same, with the chance to be involved in creative and practical design work across a wide range of applications. The Role: • Design architectural and structural elements, including steelwork and bespoke installations, • Work on a range of projects including landscaping features, modular buildings, exhibition stands, handrails, and similar structures, • Produce 2D designs using AutoCAD, with more complex work supported externally in SolidWorks, • Develop both conceptual designs and detailed layout plans, • Work with a range of materials including steel, stainless steel, and timber, • Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with project requirements, • Take ownership of the CAD function as the sole CAD specialist within the team The Person: • Experience in a CAD Design Engineer / CAD Technician position, • Strong AutoCAD 2D experience is essential, • Experience with modular design and site layout plans, • Understanding of structural and architectural steelwork, • Experience designing with materials such as steel or sheet metal, • Conceptual design experience would be advantageous, • A creative and adaptable individual who can manage both concept and detailed design work, • Open to candidates at a Junior to intermediate level with the right attitude and foundation Salary & Benefits: • Up to £50,000 (Dependent on Experience), • Working Hours:, • Monday – Friday – 8:30am – 5:00pm, • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, • Flexible working, including 1 day WFH, • Bonus potential, • Medical benefits, • Potential car allowance This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business where you can take ownership of design work, gain exposure to a wide variety of projects, and develop your career as the company continues to expand
