We’re looking for a Direct Bank Product Manager who will play a key role in shaping, developing and delivering the savings product strategy and proposition for our Direct Banking division. In this role, during pre and post go live phases you will be responsible for the research, design, development and implementation of the product strategy, as well as the ongoing monitoring of product performance. You will ensure that all products meet customer needs while fully adhering to regulatory requirements and expectations. What you’ll be doing: • Support the development and delivery of the product strategy to achieve business objectives and ensure strong Consumer Duty outcomes., • Contribute to strategic planning and the long‑term product roadmap for savings deposit products, including prioritisation and management to ensure smooth, timely delivery that meets customer needs and commercial targets., • Prepare business cases for new product launches and pricing changes, ensuring the deposit portfolio aligns with funding requirements and commercial goals., • Actively support the creation, enhancement and implementation of new deposit products and propositions within the savings bank., • Partner with wider organisational reporting teams to design, develop and monitor analytics, performing quantitative analysis to support effective portfolio management and inform product decisions., • Support the Head of Direct Bank Product & Strategy in maintaining ongoing product compliance and ensuring Consumer Duty Fair Value Assessments are completed for all products., • A solid understanding of the retail banking and/or financial services sectors, including products, distribution channels and the end‑to‑end customer journey., • Significant experience operating within a digital and commercially driven environment., • Proven experience in product innovation and/or product development within banking/financial services., • Experience working within the UK savings market (desirable)., • Strong customer insight skills, using collaboration and a range of research techniques to optimise the customer experience end‑to‑end., • A good understanding of the regulatory framework governing retail deposits and the UK savings market., • A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering change through both internal teams and external partners. Bonus: Discretionary 10% on-target bonus (based on personal and Group company performance) Pension: Employer pension contribution of 9% (based on employee contribution of 3%). We’re looking for a Corporate Credit Specialist to drive the smooth, accurate and consistent delivery of the end‑to‑end credit assessment process for all our Dealers. This high‑impact, analytical role will play a key part in strengthening our decision‑making by producing insightful operational reporting, uncovering anomalies, and safeguarding the integrity of our data. You’ll also support the Corporate Credit Assessment Team in managing and controlling wholesale funding limits—helping ensure our portfolio operates with clarity and control. What you’ll be doing: • Comply with all VW Bank UK rules, regulations and standards, including the European Organisational Handbook (E‑OHB)., • Analyse, interpret and input audited company accounts to maintain accurate Dealer risk ratings in the BERTA system., • Manage the end‑to‑end Dealer credit assessment process, ensuring all required documentation is collected, validated and approved within strict Section 18 German Banking Act timelines., • Prepare Dealer credit packs with the Credit Manager, carrying out financial analysis, assessing business structures (KYC), and requesting any additional information needed., • Administer and maintain systems used in the credit review process, completing End‑of‑Review tasks and ensuring all updates, diaries and scanned documents are recorded accurately., • Produce selected legal documentation for approval by the Credit Manager and/or Legal to ensure full legal compliance., • Register legal charges with Companies House and Land Registry to ensure Volkswagen Bank’s security interests are properly recorded., • Work with the Credit Manager team and the Dealer network to support day‑to‑day relationship management, including limit switch requests and query resolution., • Generate monthly performance reporting (dashboards, KPIs) using systems such as SAP BW, SAP BCA, Experian, Companies House, Section 18, SLI Dealer Portal and BERTA., • Provide administrative support during Dealer closures, terminations or failures., • Maintain and update procedures, policies and ARIS maps to ensure they remain accurate, relevant and compliant with E‑OHB and UK/German legislation., • Ensure all daily activities are completed in line with E‑OHB requirements., • Experience in financial services, banking and/or the motor industry., • Good understanding of balance sheets, financial ratios and security structures., • Strong drive, personal commitment and a desire to continuously develop skills and knowledge., • Proven ability to understand, interpret and work confidently with financial information., • A methodical, disciplined and proactive approach, with the focus needed to deliver in a fast‑paced environment., • Highly organised and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, use initiative and meet deadlines., • Customer‑focused team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships at senior levels., • Positive attitude with the confidence to challenge appropriately when needed., • Agile mindset, able to adapt quickly to change, learn fast and respond effectively to new requirements.
