We are launching a new Digital Employability Programme to support individuals seeking to enhance their career prospects in the digital economy. This programme will provide tailored support, digital upskilling, and career guidance to help participants progress into meaningful employment or further learning. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Employability Coach to deliver this new programme and provide wrap-around support to participants. The role involves delivering essential skills in digital literacy, numeracy, and communication, while also offering high-quality careers information, advice and guidance (CIAG). You will support individuals in building confidence, developing job readiness, and progressing into sustainable employment or further learning. Your delivery will ensure the programme meets its objectives, delivers excellent learner outcomes, and aligns with Aspire 2Be’s mission: Empowering people and organisations to achieve their full potential by investing in their digital future. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Programme Leadership & Delivery • Deliver structured 1:1 and group-based employability sessions across project durations, • Facilitate workshops based aligned to project outcomes.___, • Facilitate workshops based aligned to project outcomes., • Integrate digital tools and platforms into all aspects of delivery to build participants’ digital confidence and capability., • Deliver essential skills sessions in digital literacy, numeracy, and communication, tailored to individual learner needs. Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) • Provide personalised CIAG to help participants identify career goals and progression pathways., • Support participants in developing action plans, setting realistic goals, and overcoming barriers to employment., • Guide learners in using digital platforms for job searching, applications, and professional networking. Learner Support and Progress Tracking • Conduct initial diagnostics to assess skills, barriers, and aspirations., • Monitor learner progress through regular reviews and adapt support accordingly., • Maintain accurate records of learner engagement, achievements, and outcomes using internal systems. Stakeholder Engagement • Support participants in identifying and applying for work experience, volunteering, or employment opportunities., • Liaise with employers and partners to facilitate introductions and placements aligned with learner goals. Wellbeing and Resilience Building • Promote wellbeing and work-life balance through confidence-building, stress management, and resilience training., • Signpost participants to additional support services as needed, including mental health and financial planning resources. Marketing & Learner Recruitment • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement targeted campaigns to attract diverse learners., • Support outreach activities, including information sessions, webinars, and community engagement events. Personal Qualities • Enthusiastically pursue personal and professional development, • Ability to express ideas succinctly and clearly, both verbally and through written work, • Passionate about achieving high levels of excellence in education, learning and development, • Able to demonstrate a clear commitment to high standards and the ability to drive continuous improvement, • Highly professional and motivated with high levels of commitment and confidentiality, • Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative, • Ability to establish good working relationships with a wide range of people including senior staff, • Ability to prioritise work and manage competing demands, • Ability to work as part of a team, • Able to supervise staff Essential Criteria • Proven experience delivering career and employability-focused programmes, ideally with a digital or essential skills component., • Strong understanding of the UK employability landscape and digital inclusion., • Experience delivering or supporting learners in digital, numeracy, and literacy skills., • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire diverse learners., • Confident in using digital tools such as Microsoft Office, video conferencing platforms, and online job search tools., • Ability to work flexibly and independently, with a learner-centred approach., • Strong administration ability with a keen eye for detail, • Highly organised and punctual, • Full driving licence Desirable Criteria • Relevant qualifications in careers guidance, coaching, or adult education (e.g., Level 4 CIAG, PGCE, or equivalent)., • Experience working with disadvantaged or digitally excluded groups., • Familiarity with safeguarding, data protection, and quality assurance in education and training settings., • Knowledge of digital career pathways and labour market trends., • Digital qualification at Level 2 or above., • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusive practice., • Passion for digital inclusion, lifelong learning, and social mobility.
