KS2 SEN Teacher - Specialist SEMH School Location: Stevenage Sector: Education and Training Salary: £28,618 - £41,137 per annum (actual) Contract: Full-Time | Permanent (Temp-to-Perm considered) This KS2 SEN Teacher opportunity would suit an experienced teacher or nurture practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to re-engage with education, build emotional resilience, and achieve both academically and personally. The Role - KS2 SEN Teacher (Stevenage) As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will: • Deliver high-quality, nurture-based teaching to small groups and on a 1:1 basis, • Support pupils with SEMH needs, focusing on emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies, • Consistently apply trauma-informed and attachment-aware approaches, • Plan and deliver personalised learning in line with individual EHCP outcomes, • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, pastoral teams, therapists, and external professionals, • Create a calm, structured, and predictable classroom environment where pupils feel safe and valued, • You will play a pivotal role in developing strong, trusting relationships that help pupils grow in confidence, self-regulation, and enthusiasm for learning.
