Main duties of the job We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our team at University Hospital Southampton (UHS). We are seeking a highly organised Placement coordinator to join UHS. The post holder will plan and organise arrangements for a wide range of Widening Participation placement activity. This will involve working with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring positive outcomes. Person specification Qualifications, knowledge and experience Essential criteria - Diploma level qualification or equivalent level of knowledge gained through relevant experience in project support, business admin, project co-ordination or a related field - Good standard of education including English and Maths, or equivalent functional skills - Experience of providing project, programme or business administration support within a complex organisation - Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, to maintain records, co-ordinate activity and produce routine reports - Experience of working to deadlines, managing competing priorities and escalating risks, delays or issues appropriately - Experience of maintaining accurate information systems, databases or spreadsheets and producing routine reports - Knowledge of project administration processes, including maintaining action logs, risk and issue logs, project plans, timelines and progress trackers. - Experience of supporting meetings, including preparing agendas, taking accurate notes/minutes, recording decisions and following up actions.
