You will play a crucial role in ensuring equipment reliability, taking charge of reactive repairs, preventive maintenance activities, and fostering continuous improvement in our around-the-clock operations. As part of a highly trained team, you’ll have the opportunity to help multiple facilities and make a real impact! • Provide engineering guidance to production, resolving breakdowns and assisting with the resolution of priority engineering issues, • Deliver planned maintenance to sustain the reliability of our assets, • To work with minimal guidance, with the ability to resolve problems, • Work to company practices, procedures and rules to ensure health & safety, food safety and legal compliance are upheld, • Assist external contractors providing additional help for reactive activities, to ensure company practices, procedures and rules are understood and adhered to., • To have familiarity with working on a wide variety of engineering assets., • Effectively diagnose and repair plant equipment to component level (excluding high voltage and gas)., • Escalate all equipment issues which cannot be effectively resolved to the appropriate functions, • Identify opportunities to improve the reliability of assets and engineering working processes., • Assist with Improvement projects, identifying engineering root causes and complete CI project work actions, • Complete effective handover to the oncoming team, • Demonstrable mechanical and electrical knowledge through training and experience., • Engineering Qualification or apprenticeship (HNC or above preferred)., • Good solution-finding experience.
