About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Training & Compliance Manager to oversee both the delivery and management of training programmes alongside ensuring full regulatory compliance across all company activities. This is a hands-on role requiring the successful candidate to personally deliver training courses while maintaining compliance with Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) requirements and supporting business growth. Location: Remote, with travel and requirement to be in the head office in Hereford occasionally (frequency to be determined) Reporting To: Managing Director Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Type: Full-time, 12 months FTC (4x weekdays and Saturdays) Key Responsibilities Training Delivery & Management Transport Manager CPC OLAT (Operator Licence Awareness Training) Tachograph and compliance-related courses • Oversee all training delivery, • Ensure all training meets DVSA and relevant regulatory standards, • Adapt delivery methods to suit different learner needs and experience levels, • Maintain high levels of learner engagement and satisfaction Trainer Oversight & Development • Manage, mentor, and support other trainers, • Conduct trainer observations and performance reviews, • Ensure all trainers maintain required qualifications and CPD, • Standardise course delivery and materials across the business Compliance & Regulatory Oversight • Ensure full compliance with DVSA, Driver CPC and FORS scheme requirements, • Oversee Operator Licence applications and ad-hoc compliance support for customers, • Maintain accurate and audit-ready training and compliance records, • Keep up to date with changes in transport legislation and industry best practice Quality Assurance • Monitor training quality, feedback, and outcomes, • Continuously improve course content and delivery methods, • Investigate and resolve compliance or training issues, • Ensure consistency across all training programmes Operational & Business Support • Support development of new training products and services, • Assist with accreditation and approvals for additional courses, • Work closely with clients to understand and meet training needs, • Support commercial growth through high-quality training delivery and client retention, • Work closely with our operational delivery team Data & Systems Management • Maintain training records, booking systems, and compliance documentation, • Produce reports on training performance, compliance, and KPIs Key Skills & Experience Essential • Proven experience delivering Driver CPC training, • Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and transport compliance, • Experience delivering or supporting Transport Manager CPC and/or OLAT training, • Confident trainer with strong presentation and facilitation skills, • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, • Ability to manage both operational and strategic responsibilities, • Transport Manager CPC qualification Desirable • Teaching/training qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS or equivalent), • Experience with tachograph analysis and compliance systems, • Experience managing training teams or departments Personal Attributes • Professional and confident in front of delegates, • Strong leadership and communication skills, • Excellent organisational skills, • Proactive and solutions-driven, • High attention to detail and compliance-focused mindset Why Join Us? • Key leadership role in a growing training and compliance business, • Opportunity to shape training delivery and standards, • Varied role combining training, compliance, and business development
