    Job Purpose You are the “Captain of the Ship”. You are responsible to ensure consistency of Food Standard, Excellent Service and maintain Store Cleanliness and Condition. You are accountable in achieving the store’s sales and profit by maintaining ideal cost of all the restaurant’s expenses including proper preparation of weekly roster without sacrificing your service. Duties and responsibilities • Oversees and manages all areas of Chicking., • Ensures guest service meets company standards and customer satisfaction is maintained, • Respond efficiently to customer complaints, taking appropriate action to solve the problem, • Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible, • Organize and supervise shifts, • Train and develop staff through orientations, ongoing feedback, • Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive, • Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory, • Monitor compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations, • Control costs and minimize waste, • Successfully promote and publicize the brand, • Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example, • Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions, • Closely monitor the safety of the restaurant guests and staff through execution of food safety and restaurant safety standards and guidelines., • To be duty manager on rotation basis (role shared with other supervisors)., • Lead all financial areas including sales growth, cost management, and profit growth., • Taking responsibility for the business performance of Chicking., • Analyzing and planning restaurant sales levels and profitability., • Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes., • Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food control and sales., • Creating and executing plans for department sales, profit and staff development., • Setting budgets and/or agreeing them with senior/higher management., • Planning and coordinating menus., • Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts., • Managing staff and providing them with feedback., • Responding to customer complaints., • Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company's uniform standards., • Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations., • Training and motivating staff., • Organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen, dining and counter staff., • Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety., • Checking stock levels and ordering supplies., • Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required., • Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate., • To take a proactive role in encouraging teamwork, cooperation, harmony, productivity and a positive attitude within the working environment, • At the end of each shift complete all necessary daily reports., • Attend any training or meetings as and when required by Chicking Training., • To perform any other duties as designated by Operations Manager due to business demands., • To take responsibility for and ensure security of Chicking., • Working with other supervisors to coordinate all aspects of stock deliveries and keep accurate and up to date records., • To regularly collaborate with Restaurant manager and other supervisors to ensure the monthly accounts are accurate and the receipt and administration of all deliveries are up to date., • To administer and maintain, with the Restaurant Manager, the Chicking PMC system., • To monitor for the cellar and stock storage areas, ensuring they are secure, neat and clean at all times., • To collaborate with the supervisors to ensure tight stock control and budgeted margins are achieved., • To monitor with daily ordering so as to ensure that stock levels are maintained and any special order for bulk orders, etc. are placed in a timely manner., • To meet and greet all customers where possible., • To monitor the training of Restaurant staff including holding annual performance reviews., • To lead and comply with maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety throughout Chicking., • To support other supervisors and colleagues at peak times and to undertake any operational duty which might be reasonably required, to ensure customer expectations are met., • Ensure Chicking team are always well groomed and smart ready for work., • Hold a Food safety and PIC certificate, Check all areas of the Restaurant to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety and sanitation of the workplace., • Have a good working knowledge of all equipment and efficiently takes care of preventative maintenance. Qualifications A qualified candidate for the position of a restaurant supervisor must have outstanding interactive and communication skills and also possess the enthusiasm to work with colleague and staff as a team player. In addition to these, the following qualities, skills, knowledge, and abilities are most sought: • Proven working experience as Restaurant Manager, • Demonstrated experience in customer service management, • Extensive food knowledge, • Proficiency in English, • Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software, • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills, • Financial management skills Working conditions Ability to work with flexibility in a continuous schedule of day, nights, holidays, and weekends. Physical requirements He/she should be able to work in standing positions for up to eight hours per period.
