We’re looking for a Process Engineer to help bring structure and clarity to a manufacturing environment that’s preparing for a move to Microsoft Dynamics 365. It’s a hands-on role focused on getting the detail right—because if the data’s wrong, everything downstream is too. You’ll sit within the Manufacturing team, working closely with Production, Planning, and Continuous Improvement to make sure systems reflect reality (not guesswork) and processes actually work on the shop floor. The Role You’ll own and improve manufacturing master data—BOMs, routings, standard times—and make sure they align with how things are really built. Alongside this, you’ll drive process improvements, support production performance, and help lay the groundwork for a clean, effective D365 implementation. Key Responsibilities • Manage and optimise production routings, including sequences, work centres, and standard times, ensuring they reflect actual shop floor activity, • Own BOMs and manufacturing master data, keeping everything accurate, structured, and fit for planning, costing, and execution, • Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions that are clear, consistent, and genuinely usable (not just shelf-fillers), • Carry out time and motion studies to set and validate labour standards, feeding accurate data back into ERP systems, • Identify inefficiencies, remove non-value-added activities, and improve production flow and capacity alignment, • Lead data clean-up and governance across routings, work centres, and inventory parameters ahead of D365 migration, • Support ERP implementation activities, ensuring clean, validated data enables reliable reporting (OEE, utilisation, cost), • Work cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Finance, and CI to ensure alignment between system data and real-world performance, • Maintain engineering drawings using SolidWorks and ensure consistency with manufacturing processes, • Uphold health and safety standards across all activities About You / What You’ll Bring • Around 3+ years’ experience in a Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering role, • Strong ERP experience (IFS, D365, SAP or similar), particularly around routings, BOMs, and master data, • Proven experience with time studies, labour standards, and translating shop floor work into system data, • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, fabrication, etc.), • Experience creating SOPs and standard work that people actually follow, • A detail-focused approach—you spot gaps, inconsistencies, and fix them properly, • Confident working across teams and comfortable challenging where things don’t line up Nice to Have • ERP implementation or data migration experience, • Exposure to D365 in manufacturing, • Lean / Six Sigma understanding, • Experience with capacity planning and cost modelling, • SolidWorks capability for drawing updates and interpretation What You’ll Get • A role with real impact ahead of a major system transformation, • Close collaboration with CI, Production, and Planning teams, • The chance to build something properly (and not spend your time firefighting bad data), • Competitive salary and standard benefits package
