The Opportunity: As a Purchasing & Fleet Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Group Purchasing Manager by delivering detailed purchasing analysis while managing the administration of our company fleet of cars and commercial vehicles. This dual role combines data-driven procurement insight with hands-on fleet management, ensuring operations run efficiently, remain fully compliant with statutory requirements, and deliver measurable cost savings across the group. Leveraging our ERP system, you will identify, monitor, and report on opportunities to optimise supplier usage, helping to drive smarter, more cost-effective purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse group purchasing activity across suppliers, commodities, and business units using the ERP system., • Identify savings opportunities, highlight purchasing discrepancies, and monitor compliance with group terms., • Provide detailed purchasing reports and rebate allocations to senior stakeholders., • Monitor supplier alerts, payment terms, and non-standard practices, reporting deviations to the Group Purchasing Manager., • Manage the full vehicle lifecycle, including ordering, leasing, delivery, replacements, and returns., • Maintain accurate records for vehicles, trackers, and cost centres; monitor mileage and pooled usage., • Oversee fuel card allocation, usage, and monthly reporting by vehicle and cost centre., • Ensure fleet compliance with MOTs, servicing schedules, and statutory requirements., • Monitor accidents, repair costs, motoring offences, and driver-related incidents, liaising with HR as needed. Your skills and experiences: Experience & Skills • Proven experience in fleet administration or vehicle leasing., • Strong analytical skills, ideally with ERP/reporting system experience., • Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, filtering, and advanced formulas., • Ability to interpret purchasing data and identify actionable insights., • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
