Hourly Rate: £13.45 (plus holiday pay, £15.07 per hour in total) Contract: Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until 2nd October 2026, 16 hours per week. Working Hours: 10am–6pm, Monday–Friday. Vita Student offers a variety of studios for summer guests. We need a Seasonal Housekeeper to deliver a deep end‑of‑tenancy clean to studio apartments and communal areas, ensuring vacant accommodation meets premium standards and is ready for new residents. • Work to the cleaning schedule and quality standards, completing full deep‑cleans of vacant studio apartments, ensuring all areas are sanitised, presentable and ready for occupancy., • Deep‑clean studio kitchens and private dining suites: degrease hobs, extractor fans, splashbacks, ovens, microwaves and other kitchen appliances; clean and sanitise interior and exterior of cupboards, drawers, fridges and freezers; descale sinks, taps and surrounding surfaces., • Clean communal bathrooms and en‑suites: scrub, descale and disinfect showers, toilets, sinks, tiles, screens and fixtures; remove limescale, soap scum and water marks; ensure all sanitary areas are cleaned to high hygienic standards., • Perform general deep cleaning: wipe down doors, handles, frames, skirting boards, light switches, sockets and other accessible surfaces; clean internal windows, window ledges, mirrors and glass surfaces; remove dust, marks and cobwebs., • Vacuum, steam‑clean and mop carpeted and hard floor surfaces; dust and polish wardrobes, shelving, countertops, desks and other furniture; ensure all surfaces are free from dust, stains, and debris., • Maintain communal areas: reception areas, corridors, gym suites, cinema rooms, study hubs, games rooms, stairwells, lifts and other shared spaces; vacuum, mop, dust and sanitise touch points including handrails, door handles and intercom panels; clean communal glazing, mirrors and surfaces; remove cobwebs; empty communal bins where required., • Conduct final quality checks; take before and after photographs as required; identify and report maintenance issues, damage, defects or health and safety concerns to management; ensure work follows Vita Student procedures, health and safety requirements and client expectations., • Well‑versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi‑room residence facilities such as accommodation buildings, hotels or hospitals., • Previous experience in end‑of‑tenancy, residential, hotel, student accommodation or commercial cleaning., • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards., • Ability to work independently and manage time to meet cleaning schedules and deadlines., • Physically capable of carrying out deep‑cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, reaching and standing for extended periods., • Technologically astute, familiar with the software and systems used in operations., • Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices., • Operates in a multicultural environment, welcoming colleagues and residents from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, delivering a diverse and equal approach to all., • Excellent communication skills; English is the primary spoken language, multilingual skills welcomed., • Strong work ethic and proactive approach to completing tasks., • Resilience and ability to navigate unexpected situations., • Flexibility: available to work on a 24/7 basis, 356 days a year, including bank holidays and festive or religious breaks; able to adjust working hours for celebrations as needed., • Royal London Pension: Vita Group contributes 3 % of salary to pension pot plus a 5 % employee contribution., • Recognition programmes: employee of the month vouchers, community champion, experience awards, golden buzzer awards, work anniversaries., • Career development: induction and learning & development programme, progression through Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum training & recognition schemes., • 24/7 Employee Assistance: confidential service offering support and guidance for personal or work‑related issues.
