    Jam Coding has been working in Primary Schools since 2014 delivering computing and coding programs that help children and young people engage in the computing curriculum. We recognize that good computing knowledge and proficiency are life skills. We are looking for a part-time business manager with a knack for strategic planning and relationship management. As a Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for getting sales, driving schools acquisition, and converting leads into sales. You'll play a critical role in helping the business expand into the RH postcode. This is a part-time role aimed to give entry-level candidates and career changers an entry into sales and business development. Key Responsibilities: • Drive new customer acquisition growth by making outbound calls to primary schools on our database, • Book assemblies in new prospective schools to introduce the clubs and drive interest, • Build future sales by managing a pipeline of prospects through customer relationship building and market awareness. To Succeed in this role: • Have good communication skills, basic knowledge of the school system, • Understand how to drive cost of revenue and margins to achieve sales targets, • Have passion for initiating conversations with new people and introducing the company's products, • Be organised and self-aware, consistently following up on leads and planning ahead, • Good IT skills, • Drive and commitment to exceeding targets Why work for us: • Flexible hours (between 8:30 am to 2:30 pm), • Training provided from scratch, • Experience / Reference Letter provided, • Opportunity to learn on the job and build experience for future, • Career progression to full-time Area Manager position Other information: • Role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, • Driving beneficial to meet schools all over the region Hours: 3 to 5 per week Pay: £13/hr Location: RH1 to RH15

    We are looking for an organised, creative and proactive individual to support the growth of a wellbeing business offering Kundalini Yoga, breathwork, meditation, gong baths, workshops and retreats. This is a varied, cross-functional role combining communications, event planning, digital marketing, administration and business development. The successful candidate will help coordinate existing activities while identifying new venues, partnerships, retreats and opportunities for growth. Key responsibilities • Plan and coordinate classes, workshops, gong baths, retreats and special events., • Manage the business calendar, appointments, deadlines and task lists., • Maintain and update the website, including event information, booking details and written content., • Create, schedule and manage engaging content across social media platforms., • Prepare newsletters, promotional materials and communications for clients and community groups., • Respond professionally and warmly to enquiries, bookings, venues and potential partners., • Research and approach new venues and sites for classes, events and retreats., • Develop relationships with wellbeing centres, community organisations, corporate clients and potential collaborators., • Identify new partnership, retreat and business development opportunities., • Support event promotion, participant communication and practical arrangements., • Help develop systems that keep projects, contacts and follow-up actions organised., • Monitor engagement and suggest ideas to improve visibility, bookings and community growth. About you You will be a warm, reliable and self-motivated person who enjoys combining creativity with practical organisation. You should be comfortable working independently, managing several priorities and taking an idea from initial planning through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have: • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Strong organisational, calendar and task-management abilities., • Experience with social media and digital content., • Confidence updating websites and online event listings., • Experience in event planning, administration, marketing or business development., • The ability to research opportunities and build positive professional relationships., • Good attention to detail and a dependable approach to follow-up., • Creativity, initiative and a genuine interest in health, wellbeing and community., • Confidence using common digital tools, including email, calendars, Canva and social media platforms. Experience within the wellness, yoga, events, hospitality or retreat sector would be beneficial, but it is not essential. This role offers the opportunity to become an important part of a growing wellbeing business, helping to create meaningful experiences and introduce its work to new communities, venues and partners.
