About the Role We are seeking a Data Protection Specialist to join our client’s London-based team. This role is suited to experienced privacy professionals who combine strong regulatory expertise with the ability to manage delivery across complex client environments. The position involves hands-on advisory work alongside oversight of projects and stakeholder coordination. Your Responsibilities • Advise on UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and other applicable global data protection frameworks, • Design and enhance data protection policies, governance structures, and operational controls, • Lead DPIAs, compliance assessments, gap analyses, and remediation programmes, • Manage end-to-end delivery of data protection projects across legal, compliance, and technology functions, • Oversee junior team members and coordinate multi-disciplinary workstreams, • Act as a primary contact for senior client stakeholders and internal leadership, • Support proposal development and contribute to internal best practices Experience and Qualifications • Strong experience in data protection consulting, advisory, or in-house privacy roles, • In-depth knowledge of GDPR and broader international privacy regulations, • Demonstrated experience managing projects and supervising delivery teams, • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical, business-aligned solutions, • Strong written drafting and stakeholder communication skills, • Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous, • Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent preferred Role Details • Full-time position, • Hybrid working model based in London, • Competitive compensation aligned to experience, • 26 days annual leave with potential to increase, • Opportunity to work on multi-sector, international projects Our Process The data you provide us with will be processed exclusively for job placement requirements and assessing your application against our clients' requirements.
