Warehouse Operative Vacancy ! \n Salary: £26,000 per annum Location: Elstree Job Type: Full-time, Permanent \n We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established industrial operation based in Elstree. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enter or develop within a warehouse or industrial environment. Full training is provided, with long-term stability and progression opportunities available. \n This role would suit a reliable, hands-on individual who is comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced environment and is keen to learn new skills. \n Shift Pattern: \n The role operates across multiple fixed shift options, all based on business requirements: \n\n • Early Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (Monday to Friday)\n, • Day Shift: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday to Friday)\n, • Late Shift: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm (Monday to Friday)\n, • Night Shift: 9:00 pm – 6:00 am (Monday to Thursday, 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off)\n\n Shift allocation will be discussed during the recruitment process. Flexibility to work different shifts is preferred. \n Key Responsibilities: \n\n • Carry out general warehouse and operational duties within an industrial working environment.\n, • Support the smooth running of warehouse activities to help meet daily targets.\n, • Follow standard operating procedures, health & safety regulations, and site rules at all times.\n, • Load, unload, move, and handle materials or goods safely and efficiently.\n, • Conduct basic quality checks on items to ensure required standards are met.\n, • Identify and report any faults, defects, or delays to team leaders or supervisors.\n, • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety of workstations and shared warehouse areas.\n, • Complete simple records, logs, or checklists as required.\n, • Work effectively as part of a shift-based team to meet operational requirements.\n, • Assist with general site duties and support other departments when needed.\n, • Participate in training, safety briefings, and ongoing workplace development.\n\n Skills & Experience Required: \n\n • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above (or equivalent).\n, • Interest in warehouse or industrial work environments.\n, • Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, retail, hospitality, or similar environment is beneficial but not essential.\n, • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job.\n, • Good attention to detail and commitment to working to required standards.\n, • Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.\n, • Organised approach to tasks with good time management skills.\n, • Clear communication skills and ability to work well within a team.\n, • Able to work independently when required and meet daily targets.\n, • Physically capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods (training provided).\n, • Flexibility to work assigned shifts based on operational needs.\n\n Benefits: \n\n • 25 days annual leave plus an additional paid day off for your birthday.\n, • Company pension scheme.\n, • Free on-site parking.\n, • Clean and modern industrial working environment.\n, • Medical insurance cover.\n, • Free snacks and refreshments available on site.\n\n Apply Now! \n
