Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis Unit Are you an NMC Registered Nurse (General/Learning Disability/Mental Health) seeking an exciting new opportunity to learn specialist skills in renal dialysis nursing? What does the role involve? Being a Dialysis nurse requires commitment and passion, along with the skills and competencies to juggle the technical nursing aspects whilst giving holistic care. You will work autonomously, responsible for assessing care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating care for dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease or acute kidney injury. Sparkhill Dialysis Unit operates 24 haemodialysis stations, serving up to 96 patients, in partnership with UHB (Queen Elizabeth Hospital) Trust, using only the latest equipment. Nursing is planned at a ratio of 1:4 patients, and you will be supported by HCA’s on each shift. This is a full-time role of hours a week . Current shifts are between to Monday to Saturday.
