Teaching Assistant Opportunities – September 2026 Start We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community from September 2026. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: • Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), • Assist pupils with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), ADHD, and Speech & Language needs, • Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver tailored learning support, • Provide both 1:1 and small group interventions, • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies, • Contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment, • Work flexibly across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3 About You We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, resilient, and committed to supporting young people with additional needs. Essential Qualities: • Experience working with SEMH needs or a strong desire to develop in this area, • Understanding or experience of ASD, ADHD, and Speech & Language needs, • Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach, • Strong teamwork and communication skills, • A proactive and positive attitude towards learning and development About the School This is a specialist setting dedicated to supporting pupils with additional needs, offering a structured and nurturing environment where every student is valued.
