Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Plymouth Full Time: 33.5 hours pw / 41 weeks per year Eat That Frog CIC is a specialist post-16 institution with centres across South Devon. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and vibrant educational setting, working with students ages 16-19 who may have a range of additional needs and challenges. ABOUT THE ROLE : This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with varied needs. You will be helping learners overcome barriers to learning, celebrating every success and making a real difference in their education and personal development. Directed by our SENCO and the learners Teacher, you will work in small groups or one to one to provide direct practical support for the learners to engage in all aspects of their programme within ETF. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Who are looking for someone who is: A positive, proactive and caring approach Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to work well as part of a team Experience in supporting delivery of teaching and learning Experience of working with SEND learners is desirable Open to learning new skills and approaches Motivated by seeing learners achieve and grow Qualifications: Teaching Assistant Level 2 (desirable) Maths + English GCSE Level Above all, you will work in a way that creates a positive, fun, engaging environment and experience for learners, staff and customers.
