You’ll provide technical, hands-on engineering support on-site from setup and setting-out through to commissioning and close-out, delivering projects such as treatment works upgrades, pumping station improvements, sewer rehabilitation and nature-based solutions that enhance biodiversity and resilience. Key Responsibilities: Perform setting-out, level checks and setting-out verification to design tolerances; produce and maintain accurate survey records and as-built information. Carry out quality inspections and testing to ensure works meet drawings, specifications and client requirements; raise and manage NCRs/defects and support remedial works. Support site setup and the Site Manager with implementation of company systems, method statements, RAMS and permit processes. Prepare, update and issue daily/weekly site engineering reports, progress records, site diaries and material/plant logs to support commercial and delivery teams. Coordinate with subcontractors, plant operators and operatives to sequence works and maintain programme progress; supervise and mentor junior technical staff. Assist with temporary works checks and handover of temporary installations to the Temporary Works Coordinator; ensure compliance with design and inspection regimes. Contribute to cost control by logging materials, tracking plant usage and providing input to quantity surveying/estimating teams.
