This is a key role that ensures the company fully understands the costs behind its products, enabling accurate pricing, quoting, and margin management. You’ll be responsible for: • Analysing the cost of raw materials, labour, and overheads for hundreds of products., • Tracking production output and productivity to ensure costs are accurately reflected., • Working closely with production teams to understand manufacturing processes., • Evaluating profitability and margin on individual products., • Supporting the business with pricing strategies and accurate customer quotes., • Preparing reports that provide insight into cost drivers, efficiency, and opportunities for savings., • Building out BOMs and costing models, • Hands-on experience in manufacturing cost accounting, BOM creation, and pricing for retail. The Ideal Candidate: • Strong technical accounting background, ideally with experience in manufacturing or industrial production costing., • Excellent Excel and analytical skills., • Ability to work closely with production teams and understand the mechanics of manufacturing processes., • Experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and product pricing., • Hands-on, proactive, and able to work across multiple departments to gather accurate data.
