About the Role Role Overview proAV are a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships globally. Our immediate requirement is for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to be a key part of our Egham team, representing proAV.The Senior Production Engineer will be primarily based at our Engineering Hub and will work alongside the Production Team whilst also orchestrating off-site works. We are seeking an individual with good technical knowledge and experience in assembling and troubleshooting AV racks and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. As a Senior Production Engineer, you will play an important role in maintaining efficient and reliable rack installations while ensuring the highest level of quality and safety, providing guidance and support to junior team members. You will supervise all field operations, leading their execution personally through liaising with project managers or coordinating resources through agencies depending on resource and workflow. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Senior Production Engineer to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package. • Assembling and wiring racks according to specifications and guidelines., • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to rack installations., • Maintaining accurate documentation of rack inventory., • Being able to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where multiple rack build projects may be ongoing simultaneously., • Provide leadership and guidance, setting an example to the rest of the team., • Demonstrate a strong sense of professionalism and attention to detail by consistently creating organised and visually appealing rack installations., • Collaborate with Production Managers participating in the development and implementation of new processes., • Training and mentoring junior production engineers and technicians., • Pre-prepare cables for upcoming systems., • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines. Maintain a clean and organised working area. Act as a role model for other production engineers offering support to junior technicians. Co-ordination with internal departments to get a clear understanding of projects and troubleshoot any rack related queries. Ensure racks are uniform when working with the team on identical systems. Location: Beckton Sector: Water We're hiring a Senior Planner to join our client's growing water infrastructure team in Beckton. Reporting to the Senior Planning Manager, you'll be responsible for developing, managing, and reporting on tender and contractual programmes, ensuring projects are delivered in line with key milestones and objectives. Working closely with project and commercial teams, you'll oversee multiple project schedules, monitor progress and costs, identify and mitigate risks, and drive programme performance. You'll also play a key role in mentoring junior Planners, sharing best practice and supporting the continued development of the planning function. • Work alongside the estimating team to produce tender programmes that are realistic, achievable, and compliant with project requirements., • Develop, maintain, update, and submit programmes in accordance with contractual obligations., • Support the delivery of collaborative planning workshops., • Lead the development and implementation of 4D construction planning., • Create and maintain baseline programmes, monitoring project progress against them., • Liaise with project teams to ensure alignment on planning assumptions, methodologies, and outputs., • Identify key risks and opportunities throughout the planning process., • Collect, analyse, and distribute progress information, including reasons for delays or programme variances., • Monitor changes to project scope and update programmes where required., • Attend project and progress meetings, presenting programme updates and performance information., • Conduct site visits to gather accurate progress information., • Escalate programme concerns and planning issues to the Senior Planning Manager and site management teams., • Produce and distribute regular look-ahead programmes., • Ensure an accurate As-Built programme is completed at project close-out., • Maintain an understanding of site operations, methodologies, and associated project costs., • Record the impact of changes on site activities and contractual programme requirements., • Support the preparation of monthly progress reports in line with client requirements., • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Senior Planning Manager, Project Managers, Commercial Team, and client representatives., • Assist in the administration and management of Primavera P6., • Provide planning software training and support to new users when required., • Experience planning civil engineering and M&E projects., • Knowledge of production control and collaborative planning techniques., • Good understanding of current HSE practices and a valid CSCS card., • Experience working with NEC3 and/or NEC4 contracts., • Strong Microsoft Office and software application skills., • Proficiency in Primavera P6 planning software., • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills., • Ability to identify project risks and opportunities., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment., • Able to manage tight deadlines and competing priorities., • Strong focus on project delivery and achieving targets., • Proactive and self-motivated approach., • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills., • Effective workload management and organisational abilities., • Previous experience within the water industry., • Site-based engineering experience., • Relevant professional qualification., • Current Water Hygiene Card., • Familiarity with contract management systems such as CEMAR and Aconex #J-18808-Ljbffr
