Our client one of the regions leading Groundworks subcontractors, due to continued growth & development they are now actively looking to bolster there team with the addition of a new Contracts Manager. About the Role Experienced and driven Groundworks Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee multiple groundworks and civil engineering projects simultaneously, • Lead project teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors, • Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations, • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, implementing corrective actions where necessary, • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and senior management to provide regular updates, • Review and negotiate contracts, variations, and procurement schedules, • Drive quality assurance and ensure all works meet required specifications, • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Requirements • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within groundworks or civil engineering, • Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure works, • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively, • Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience, • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification, • Full UK driving licence Desirable • Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major developers, • Knowledge of NEC or JCT contracts What We Offer • Competitive salary package, • Company vehicle or car allowance, • Pension scheme, • Career progression opportunities, • Supportive and dynamic working environment
