About the Role In this newly created senior leadership role, you will: • Shape and deliver the corporate H&S strategy, policies, and procedures., • Drive a proactive health & safety culture through engagement, communication, and visible leadership across all levels of the organisation., • Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the organisation’s corporate health & safety management system., • Act as the organisation’s competent person for workplace safety, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice across all workplace environments., • Chair internal H&S committees and provide clear, evidence-based reporting to senior stakeholders and the board., • Support workplace safety across multiple sites, including offices, care services, and operational facilities. What We’re Looking For • Senior level experience in a corporate health and safety role, • Proven leadership capability and the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands on in a small team., • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent level qualification) and ideally CMIOSH (or working towards)., • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence from the boardroom to front line staff., • Experience with ISO 45001 is desirable, as you’ll be guiding the organisation on the start of its accreditation journey.
