Were looking for a Senior Site Engineer join our team delivering HMP Glasgow Location : Glasgow Hours : Full Time, Permanent What will you be responsible for? As Senior Site Engineer you will be a key part of the team delivering one of the largest construction projects ever delivered in Scotland overseeing the delivery of large earthworks, structures and landscaping works throughout the campus. Your day to day will include: Setting Out across the site as required Supervising and coordinating with specialist subcontractors engineers on site Working with permanent civils and structures engineers and temporary works engineers Ensuring the proper designs, check and approvals are in place for all temporary works designs Carry out all necessary SHE inspections in line with Kier minimum safety standards and Kiers 5 SHE basics. Carry out site safety inductions when required. Compile quality records for the works using Kiers QMS and ensure they are up to date and correct. Ensure subcontractors have all necessary ITP in place and approved before commencing works on site. Ensure all engineering activities are successfully and safely delivered on time and on budget Ensure subcontractors engineers are carrying works to required standard, accuracy and level of coordination.
