This role is primarily a Team Member position, with additional Shift Supervisor responsibilities undertaken when management cover is required. Overview of main duties and responsibilities: The post holder will be responsible for carrying out Team Member duties as their core role, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Club across reception and bar functions. In addition, the post holder will be required to step into the Shift Supervisor role on an ad-hoc basis, providing senior cover in the absence of a Manager and ensuring operational standards are maintained. This is not a full-time supervisory role. Shift Supervisor duties will only be carried out when required and agreed. Team Member Duties (Primary Responsibilities) You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service across the Club, including: • Providing a professional and welcoming front-of-house service, • Managing bookings, enquiries, and payments accurately, • Handling face-to-face and telephone sales, • Operating tills and booking systems confidently, • Working efficiently in a busy bar environment, • Delivering high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation, • Building rapport with customers to encourage repeat visits and increased spend, • Handling cash and card transactions responsibly Shift Supervisor Duties (Additional Responsibility) When providing management cover, you will: • Act as the senior person on duty in the absence of a Manager, • Ensure service, safety, and operational standards are maintained, • Supervise and support Team Members on shift, • Deal with escalated customer issues appropriately, • Carry out opening and closing procedures when required, • Complete basic administrative and cash-handling tasks, • Strong customer service and communication skills, • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, • Good organisational and administration skills, • Computer literate, including basic Word and Excel, • Experience of cash handling and customer transactions Our team members are encouraged to develop their careers and as a company we provide support, training and guidance to assist individuals in achieving their career aspirations.
