Senior Finance Business Partner \n Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum Location: Redhill (hybrid) Contract: Full Time, Permanent \n The Opportunity \n We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Finance Business Partner to join a high-performing finance team. This is a strategic leadership position offering the opportunity to influence business performance, drive financial decision-making, and support senior stakeholders across a complex organisation. \n Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, you will provide expert financial leadership, partnering with operational and non-operational teams to deliver financial objectives, improve performance, and maximise value across the business. You will also lead a small team and play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, business cases, procurement, contract management, and organisational planning. \n Key Responsibilities \n\n • Act as a trusted finance business partner to senior leaders and operational managers.\n, • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts and financial performance reporting.\n, • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.\n, • Develop and monitor cost improvement and savings initiatives, providing challenge and support where required.\n, • Prepare, review, and evaluate business cases, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood.\n, • Support costing and pricing activities for existing and new services.\n, • Lead financial modelling and analytical work to support strategic decision-making.\n, • Oversee procurement and contract management processes, ensuring value for money and compliance.\n, • Deliver insightful financial reports and presentations to senior leadership teams and governance committees.\n, • Develop robust financial controls, reporting systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n, • Lead, coach, and develop Finance Business Partners and wider finance team members.\n\n About You \n To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant with strong financial leadership and business partnering experience gained within a large and complex organisation. \n Essential Requirements \n\n • Fully qualified CCAB or CIMA accountant with current professional membership.\n, • Significant post-qualification experience in financial management and business partnering.\n, • Strong experience producing financial reports and performance analysis for senior stakeholders.\n, • Proven people management and leadership experience.\n, • Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise.\n, • Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting operational decision-making.\n, • Demonstrable experience in budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and financial control.\n, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\n, • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\n, • Ability to influence and challenge constructively at senior management level.\n\n Desirable \n\n • Project management experience.\n, • Procurement and contract management experience.\n, • Experience of benchmarking, service reviews, and efficiency programmes.\n, • Exposure to both public and private sector environments.\n\n What's On Offer? \n\n • A highly visible leadership position with significant stakeholder engagement.\n, • The opportunity to shape financial strategy and organisational performance.\n, • Exposure to complex commercial and operational challenges.\n, • Leadership and development of a dedicated finance team.\n, • A collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.\n\n \n \n
