This Charity’s Empowering Youth Programme is on a mission to change that.\n As a Gambling Harm Prevention & Education Coordinator, you’ll be at the forefront of this movement — educating, empowering, and protecting young people by giving them the tools to make informed, resilient choices.\n\n🚀 What You’ll Be DoingThis is a dynamic, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You will:\n\n🎓 Deliver Impactful Education\n\nDesign and deliver engaging workshops in schools, communities, and professional settings\nCreate innovative, age-appropriate resources (including SEN-inclusive content)\nAdapt programmes using real feedback, trends, and research🤝 Build Strong Community Partnerships\n\nWork closely with schools, health professionals, and local organisations\nDeliver training to professionals, parents, and carers\nAct as a key ambassador for gambling harm prevention🌱 Empower Young People\n\nDevelop and mentor Youth Champions & Ambassadors\nCo-create campaigns and initiatives with young people\nOrganise events that inspire and educate💬 Provide Early Support\n\nOffer brief interventions and guidance to those at risk\nSignpost individuals to specialist services\nDeliver wellbeing drop-ins following sessions📊 Measure & Improve\n\nTrack programme impact using data and feedback\nContinuously refine delivery to maximise outcomes\n🧠 What We’re Looking For Essential:\n\nExperience working with young people or in youth/community settings\nStrong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills\nExperience designing and delivering training or educational programmes\nKnowledge of youth work approaches and learning methods\nAbility to engage diverse audiences with a non-judgemental approach\nDesirable experience:\n\nExperience in gambling harm, addiction, or public health\nProject or programme management experience\nInterest in research or developing evidence-based practice\nQualifications:\n\nLevel 4 (or above) in Youth Work, Social Work, Education, Health Promotion or similar\nFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable)\n❤️ What You’ll Get\nThe chance to make a genuine social impact\nA supportive, values-driven Charity environment\nOngoing training, development & supervision\nFlexible working (including occasional evenings/weekends)\nOpportunities to innovate and shape programmes\n🌍 About the Charity This Charity is committed to empowerment, integrity, and partnership, delivering high-quality services that support individuals and communities to thrive.
