    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at Care Oasis, we are a new 4 bedded therapeutic care home in the heart of Hertfordshire, Watford specialising in supporting Children with EBD AND LD. In this rewarding role, you will provide high quality, child centred care and confidently lead shifts, helping to create a safe, nurturing and trauma-informed environment where children can thrive. Working closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager, you will ensure that each child's views, wishes and feelings are heard, their individual plans are delivered effectively, and their development, confidence, independence and social skills are actively supported. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young people's lives while being part of a supportive and ambitious team within a home regulated by Ofsted and committed to delivering outstanding care. Skills and Experience • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is highly desirable and will be given priority during the shortlisting process. Candidates who do not yet hold the qualification but have relevant residential childcare experience and are willing to work towards the qualification may also be considered., • Experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting., • Experience leading shifts, supporting colleagues and promoting positive outcomes for children., • Strong safeguarding knowledge and the ability to manage challenging situations professionally., • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills., • Ability to remain calm, resilient and solution-focused under pressure., • Strong record keeping and IT skills., • A child centred, compassionate and proactive approach to care., • Understanding of trauma-informed practice and relationship-based care., • Full UK driving licence preferred.

    We are looking for a Quality and Testing Professional to make sure our VR games are stable, comfortable, performant and fun across headsets and platforms. VR has a much higher quality bar than flat-screen games, because bugs can cause motion sickness, discomfort and broken immersion as well as crashes. You will own test strategy and delivery, and use AI to test faster and find problems earlier. Roles and Responsibilities • Define test strategy, plans and quality gates for each milestone (prototype, alpha, beta, certification, live)., • Estimate test effort, prioritise by risk and report quality status to producers, designers and engineering leads., • Maintain traceability between design requirements, test cases and defects., • Test gameplay, UI/UX, controls, hand tracking, controller input and multiplayer or social features., • Run regression, smoke, integration and exploratory testing on every build., • Verify save data, progression, in-app purchases, online services and backend integrations., • Evaluate comfort and motion sickness risk: locomotion methods, field of view, camera motion, snap and smooth turning, vignetting., • Test tracking, calibration, guardian/boundary behaviour, room-scale and seated modes., • Check spatial audio, haptics, interaction physics and object scale for immersion., • Test accessibility options such as one-handed play, seated mode, subtitles and comfort settings., • Run load, soak and stress tests on standalone and PC-tethered headsets and on multiplayer servers., • Profile memory, CPU/GPU use and loading times, working with engineers on bottlenecks., • Test across headsets, firmware versions, PC hardware tiers and store requirements (e.g., Meta Quest, SteamVR, PlayStation VR2, Pico)., • Run store certification and compliance checks and manage submission readiness., • Write clear, reproducible bug reports with video, logs and repro steps., • Triage defects, hold daily defect calls and track fixes to closure., • Report defect density, escape rate and fix-verification metrics.

Every year, CAAS supports hundreds of ADHD and autistic children, young people, adults and their families through information, advice, support services, training and community programmes. As demand for our services continues to grow, we are seeking a talented fundraiser who can help us build strong supporter relationships, develop new income streams, and ensure our vital work reaches even more people. About the Role Working closely with the Fundraising & Communications Manager and CEO, you will play a key role in developing and delivering fundraising activities that generate sustainable income and increase awareness of CAAS.
