Job Purpose: Responsible for leading and developing the Planning function to deliver accurate and efficient demand forecasts, production schedules, and material replenishment plans. The role ensures operations remain within capacity and budgetary parameters while consistently maintaining customer product availability at 98.5% or above. The Demand Planning Manager will demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Commercial, Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure promotional activity, new product launches, and strategic projects are delivered on time and within agreed financial frameworks. Key responsibilities The supply chain manager will work across all our divisions in the business to ensure that we meet our internal and external customers’ demands on time, accurately and in full. They will coordinate, organise and manage all the logistics involved in the production and distribution processes for the company. They will also oversee the entire life cycle of a product, the flow of goods and services from raw materials to final products. Working closely with all divisions within the company to ensure we have efficient and cost-effective operations. Creating accurate sales forecasts to enable the production team to have the required dry goods and finished product availability to meet demand and that we have the required space to store our products. There will also be responsibility for the warehouse and ensuring stock accuracy across the business. The role requires 5 key priorities to initially implement, develop and embed. Improve inventory visibility, stock accuracy in all locations, and managing forecasting for production and procurement Using Business Central to adopt a fast, flexible pipeline planning system. Use real-time analytics to measure volatility of demand. Build on our existing forecasting models to create accurate supply and demand. Demand management from forecasting through to production planning. Requirements This role requires previous Supply Chain, Planning and customer service area experience.. Have a full, clean driving licence and have own transport. Experience in an FMCG environment. Ability to travel between sites mainly Rochester and Luddesdown. This role is working a 5 over 7 shift pattern. Flexibility on start and finish times upon request and as required. A flexible, can-do attitude and ability to embrace change.
