We’re\nlooking for an enthusiastic and experienced Deputy Manager to support the\nday-to-day running of the nursery, lead and inspire the team, and help ensure\nthe highest standards of care, learning, and compliance. You’ll work closely\nwith the Nursery Manager to create a positive environment for children,\nfamilies, and staff. This is a\nfull-time role, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Why Join\nUs? Key\nResponsibilities: · Ensure the safety and wellbeing of\nevery child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times. · Understand and ensure that the\nrequirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met throughout the\nnursery. · Assist in managing the acceptance and\nadministration of medication and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date\nfor children or staff with health conditions. · Ensure that all children receive\nstimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources that are\nappropriate to their age and stage of development. · Promote respect and credibility for\nthis position through effective communication skills, impartiality, and\nconsistency. · Inspire staff team with creative\nideas and new challenges with aim to achieve outstanding practice. · Undertake any other duties to ensure\nthe smooth running of the nursery and safety and wellbeing of children, staff,\nand families. *Duties and\nresponsibilities in this job description are not exhaustive or restrictive,\nchanges and other duties relevant to this post may be added. Requirements: · Full and relevant Level 3 in\nChildcare qualification - Essential · Over 1 years’ experience of working\nin Early Years - Essential · Sound knowledge of the statutory\nframework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential · Over 1 years’ experience of working\nin a management position - Desirable. · Level 5 qualification in Childcare\nand/or Management and Leadership - Desirable · Experience of successfully passing an\nOfsted inspection to good or outstanding – Desirable.
