Purpose of the role As a Business Data Analyst, you’ll map and analyse data-driven processes, capture both functional and non-functional requirements, and propose improvements to user experience and business workflows. You’ll design solutions in collaboration with Technology, HR, Finance, and operational teams with the purpose of identifying and implementing data-driven monitoring and decisions. Your work will underpin efficient, future-proof technology and automation solutions that enhance staff and customer experiences. You will develop and monitor performance via metrics, drive continuous improvement, and support a data-led culture. This is the first role of its kind within the company, so you’ll need to be a self-starter, inquisitive, and comfortable driving change. You’ll be hands-on with data, shaping strategy for future data warehousing, and building the foundations of a data-driven organization. • Collect, clean, analyse, and interpret datasets to drive actionable insights, • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, BI reports, and visualisations (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), • Define data assets, data models, and reporting pipelines, leveraging SQL and related technologies, • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that provide data insight, • Map and model end‑to‑end business processes across Finance, HR, Payroll, and operations, • Recommend and implement improvements in process efficiency, automation, data integrity, and user experience, • Conduct root‑cause and trend analyses to identify business opportunities and risks, • Monitor key performance indicators and provide routine status and improvement reporting, • Support ad‑hoc business and data requests, including operational performance, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analytics, • Build a data‑literate culture through documentation, training, and self‑service analytics enablement What we’re looking for • 3–5 years in a data analyst or business data analyst role, with proven use of BI tools, SQL, and Excel, • Experienced in working with operational teams and key stakeholders to capture, analyse, and classify both functional and non-functional requirements, • Demonstrated ability to map and analyse end-to-end business and operations process flows, • Track record of applying process improvement methodologies and delivering sustainable change, • Project & Agile Delivery, • Strategic & Communication Skills, • Broad strategic thinker with a clear vision for operational excellence across business areas, • Strong written and oral communication, technical documentation, and stakeholder management, • Excellent presentation skills with strong analytical and technical writing capabilities, • Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple departments and geographies, • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in group settings, • Proven ability to drive change and influence adoption of data-led decision-making Conexus MedStaff provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
