The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our NHS medical glaucoma service, providing both clinical and surgical assistance. This position requires a compassionate professional with a deep understanding of glaucoma management and patient care. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose, evaluate and manage patients with existing and undiagnosed glaucoma along with other ocular conditions., • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures such as visual field assessments, optical coherence tomography (OCT), volk, CCT and gonioscopy., • Provide management plans for existing Glaucoma referrals, • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients., • Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans., • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives., • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations., • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding glaucoma management and treatment options. What You’ll Need • Medical degree from a recognized university, • Valid GMC registration with a license to practice in UK, • Experience in ophthalmology, particularly in managing glaucoma cases and ability to work independently, • UK NHS Glaucoma clinic experience, • Gonioscopy experience, • SLT laser experience, • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Our client are looking to recruit an Assistant Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of production operations within a food manufacturing environment. Reporting into the Team Leader, and ultimately the Production Supervisors and Production Manager, this role plays a key part in ensuring production runs smoothly, safely and to the required standards. Pay £14.00ph increasing to £14.92ph after training usually between 3-6 months. Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday 6am - 3:30pm Must be available to work 6 days per week and weekends over busier periods. Overtime available. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who can lead by example, support and motivate a team, and step up to run production when required.
