Location: North Hampshire Salary: £38 per hour Contract Type: Full-Time Start Date: September Inspire the Next Generation of Automotive Professionals As we lead into the 26/27 Academic year, we are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Automotive/Motor Vehicle Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and inspire learners to achieve their full potential. You will play a key role in planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to a positive learning environment. Whether you are an experienced lecturer or an industry professional looking to move into education, we would love to hear from you. • Deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Motor Vehicle and Automotive programmes., • Teach practical and theoretical aspects of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and emerging automotive technologies., • Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources., • Assess learner progress and provide timely feedback., • Support students in achieving their qualifications and career aspirations., • Maintain workshop equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations., • Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives., • Participate in student recruitment, open days, and employer engagement activities., • Level 3 qualification (or above) in Motor Vehicle, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline., • Relevant industry experience within the automotive sector., • Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance., • Excellent communication and organisational skills., • A passion for supporting and developing learners., • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one., • Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, or equivalent)., • Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience., • Experience working with hybrid and electric vehicle technologies., • Knowledge of vocational qualifications and apprenticeship standards., • Competitive salary and benefits package., • Generous annual leave entitlement., • Access to pension schemes., • Ongoing professional development and teacher training support., • Modern workshops and industry-standard equipment., • A supportive and collaborative working environment., • Opportunities for career progression within the organisation.
