Ambrose Avenue Group Practice in Colchester is a friendly and welcoming GP practice serving 14500 patients across two locations. We are currently seeking a strategic and experienced individual with a proven track record in business and people management to fill the role of practice manager. Working across our two sites Ambrose Avenue and Tollgate this is a full-time role requiring 37.5 hours per week over five days. This role presents an opportunity to apply transferable skills within a well-established and supportive organisation that values autonomy and encourages ongoing professional development. The successful candidate will play a central role in managing and further developing the practice joining a team that prioritises training has a clear vision for the future and is dedicated to patient-centred will receive support from the finance manager operations manager and a capable administrative team. Working closely with our 3 GP partners responsibilities will include; • Provide organisational leadership toour team alongside the management team to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality sustainable services., • Achieve key targets in all clinical and administrative areas of the practice., • Manage coordinate and oversee all aspects of practice functionality., • Motivate and manage staff optimising efficiency and performance and ensuring that the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives in a safe and effective working environment., • Implement innovative working methods you will lead the team in promoting continuous improvement maintaining confidentiality fostering collaboration ensuring service delivery and facilitating learning and development all while ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.If you are an experiencedpracticemanager looking for a new challenge then we would love to hear from you.All applicants should have the following skills and attributes:, • A high level of personal organisation is essential along with a systematic approach to problem-solving and planning., • Strong human resource skills operations and quality improvement., • Prior experience of leadership and personnel management ideally within a healthcare setting., • Ability to deliver a vision with a willingness and the drive to adapt to NHS targets and business planning whilst keeping abreast of legislative and contractual changes., • Self-motivated with a forward-thinking solution-focused approach., • The ability to develop implement and embedpolicies procedures and guidelines., • Experience of working in an ever-evolving environment with an ability to cope with regular change., • Excellent organisational management and planning skills IT skills and communication skills., • Ability to implement and manage change effectively., • A permanent employment contract., • Competitive salarywith increments based on professional development., • Membership in the NHS pension scheme., • Support for your personal and professional development., • Excellent training and development opportunities., • Enjoy an impressive total of 6 weeks annual leave along with eight bank holidays (pro-rata) this increases with your continuous years of service in the NHS.
