We are hiring an AWS Cloud Migration Engineer to move our on-premises VMware estate to native Amazon EC2, using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN). You will join a small core migration team for a 20-week program covering about 100 Windows and Linux VMs. You will run the hands-on work: replication, test launches, cutovers and post-migration tuning. You will work closely with the cloud architect, network and security engineers, and application owners. Reports to: Migration Project Manager (day to day) and Cloud Architect (technical direction). Team: Cloud architect, 2 migration engineers, network engineer, security engineer, DBA, and application owners per wave. Key responsibilities You will own the technical execution of each migration wave, from discovery data through to a stable workload on EC2.
