Position Overview The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general repairs, routine maintenance, and light installations across HOA communities. This role requires a versatile, hands-on professional who can troubleshoot issues, complete work efficiently, and represent Vero Maintenance with professionalism on-site. Requirements: • Perform general maintenance and repair work across residential HOA communities, • Complete work orders including, but not limited to:, • Drywall repair and painting, • Minor plumbing repairs (leaks, fixtures, toilets, sinks), • Basic electrical work (outlets, switches, light fixtures), • Door, lock, and hardware repairs, • Fence, gate, and railing repairs, • Flooring repairs (vinyl, tile, minor carpet fixes), • Cabinetry, trim, and carpentry touch-ups, • Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance issues before they escalate, • Respond to urgent maintenance requests and emergency calls as needed, • Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job status, • Communicate clearly with supervisors, property managers, and residents when appropriate, • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, • Follow safety protocols, HOA rules, and company standards at all times, • 2+ years of experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or facilities maintenance, • Broad working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, • Ability to diagnose issues and recommend appropriate solutions, • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship, • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day, • Comfortable working independently and managing daily assignments, • Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills, • Experience working in HOA, condominium, or multi-family communities, • Maintenance certifications or trade licenses, • Familiarity with maintenance ticketing or work-order systems, • Competitive hourly pay or per-job compensation (based on experience), • Consistent work across multiple communities, • Opportunity for growth, • Supportive team environment with clear processes and expectations, • Tools, uniforms, and technology support (as applicable), • Comprehensive Health, Dental, Vision insurance, • 100% Employer-paid Life and AD&D Insurance
