Role Overview As Content Marketing Manager, you will lead the development and execution of QuikStor's content strategy across all owned, earned, and paid channels. You'll create compelling content that educates self-storage operators, builds brand authority, drives organic and AI-driven search visibility, and supports the full sales funnel — from awareness through retention. This is a high-ownership role suited to a self-starter who can move fluidly between big-picture strategy and hands-on content creation, and who understands how to write for both humans and AI search engines. Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Planning • Develop and manage a comprehensive content calendar aligned to marketing goals, product releases, and industry events., • Define QuikStor's content voice, tone, and style guidelines and ensure consistency across all channels., • Conduct audience research, keyword analysis, and competitive content audits to identify opportunities., • Build content frameworks optimized for traditional SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) — structuring content for AI-driven search results, featured snippets, and generative engine visibility.Blog & Website Copy, • Write and publish high-quality blog posts, how-to guides, and thought leadership articles targeting self-storage operators and decision-makers., • Own website copy — crafting and refreshing landing pages, product pages, and conversion-focused copy that reflects the QuikStor brand., • Optimize all written content for search intent, AEO formatting (structured answers, FAQ schema, etc.), and readability.Video Content, • Develop scripts, storyboards, and creative briefs for product demos, customer testimonials, explainer videos, and social clips., • Collaborate with internal teams or external vendors to manage video production from concept through delivery., • Repurpose video content into supporting assets — transcripts, blog summaries, social snippets, and email features.White Papers & Long-Form Assets, • Research and write authoritative white papers, industry reports, and eBooks that position QuikStor as a self-storage technology leader., • Partner with subject matter experts, product managers, and sales to ensure technical accuracy and strategic alignment., • Package long-form assets as gated lead-generation tools and develop supporting promotional content.Social Media, • Manage QuikStor's social media presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant platforms., • Develop platform-native content that drives engagement, brand awareness, and community among self-storage professionals., • Monitor trends, respond to comments, and track performance metrics to continuously refine strategy.Product Marketing Collateral, • Create sales enablement materials including one-pagers, product sheets, brochures, comparison battlecard guides, and presentation decks., • Translate complex product features into clear, benefit-driven messaging that resonates with operators of all technical levels., • Collaborate with the product and sales teams to support new feature launches and go-to-market campaigns.Email Marketing, • Write and manage promotional and nurture email campaigns targeting prospects, current customers, and re-engagement audiences., • Develop segmented messaging strategies that speak to different operator personas — from single-location owners to multi-site management companies., • Analyze open rates, CTRs, and conversion data to optimize subject lines, content, and send cadence.Performance & Reporting, • Track and report on content KPIs including organic traffic, engagement, lead generation, and pipeline influence., • Use data to inform content priorities and demonstrate ROI to stakeholders.QualificationsRequired, • 4-7 years of B2B SaaS content marketing experience, • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across multiple formats., • Demonstrated experience with SEO and AEO content strategies., • Hands-on experience managing social media channels for a brand., • Experience writing marketing emails and managing campaign performance., • Ability to produce and manage multiple content types simultaneously., • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines independently.Preferred, • Experience in the self-storage, property management, or PropTech industry., • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress or similar), HubSpot, ClickUp and marketing automation tools., • Experience briefing, directing, or producing video content., • Comfort with analytics tools — Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar., • Graphic design sensibility; experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite a plus., • Understanding of AI search behavior and generative engine optimization (GEO).Who You Are, • A natural storyteller who can make technical software feel approachable and compelling., • A strategic thinker who understands how content supports pipeline and revenue, not just page views., • Deeply curious about AI, search, and how buyers discover and evaluate solutions., • A collaborator who can work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Customer Success — but self-sufficient enough to execute independently., • Organized, accountable, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.Location & Travel This role is based at QuikStor headquarters in El Segundo, California.
