Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: HPI Architecture is seeking a talented Marketing Graphic Designer to support all marketing efforts for the firm’s Education and Housing Studios. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall Marketing Coordination and Assistance: • Support the Marketing / Communications Manager and HPI Leadership team throughout all phases of the marketing and business development process including:, • Creating engaging, brand-aligned content including graphics, copy, and electronic media supporting all marketing and business development efforts, • Coordinating the production of collateral and marketing materials for RFP / RFQ submissions, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and career fairs under the direction of the Marketing and Communications Manager, • Assisting with additional marketing and business development tasks as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative ideas and visual solutions., • Strong graphic design skills with the ability to translate strategic direction into effective design concepts. (Portfolio required with application.), • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro., • Experience creating social media content (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) with an understanding of professional and corporate tone., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities., • Able to manage multiple projects, meet frequent deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities., • Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a decentralized team environment., • Software proficiencies: Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam Studio, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required, • 1-3 years of related marketing experience in the A/E/C industry (architecture, engineering, or construction firm) preferred, • Experience with the A/E/C RFP/RFQ proposal process preferred, • Relevant four-year degree in Marketing, Communications, and/or Graphic Design preferred, • Occasional travel to both offices (Newport Beach and San Diego) for various industry events PHYSICAL STANDARDS: Positions in this class are situated in a standard office environment, resulting in little exposure to the weather and requiring no unusual physical abilities. Other requirements include: • Near and visual acuity to interpret written documentation, reading very small print, maintains accurate records, recognizes people and provide direction., • Use of hands for simple and firm grasping, as well as, fine manipulating ability to reach and handle equipment, records, and reports., • Higher-level cognitive skills to move quickly from one task to another and to attend to detail.
