What You Will Do The Production Associate position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company's products. This includes trimming and weighing cannabis flower. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. • Responsible for trimming, weighing, assembling and packaging cannabis flower, • Weighing, assembling and packaging cannabis flower into prerolls, • Apply compliance labels to all packaged product, • Responsible for accurate tracking and weighing of all packaging/production projects as assigned by supervisors, • Accurately count, process, and pack finished goods for distribution, • Work may require prolonged sitting/standing, and repetitive movements, • Participation in counting of physical inventory as needed., • Maintain safe and clean work environment., • Maintain equipment in good working condition., • Meet established goals as designated by the Production Lead and/or Production Manager., • Other duties as assigned.What We Are Looking For, • 1-2 years of prior dry trim experience preferred, but not necessary., • For extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking through the workday., • Must be able to exert well-paced mobility and perform repetitive tasks for up to 8 hours in length., • Must be able to adapt to fast-paced production environment while maintaining quality and accuracy., • Previous Cannabis Experience or 1-2 years of Production Experience in Distribution preferred., • Must be 21+ years of age, • Able to work between the operating hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday with some overtime and weekend work, as needed., • Proven history of being dependable and punctual., • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain focused while being adaptable in an ever-changing business environment., • Possess strong time management and organizational skills. About the Job We are looking for a Maintenance Technician I to assist and learn from our senior-level Supervisor. The Maintenance Tech role is responsible for helping the Maintenance team perform various maintenance, sanitation, and repair activities to machinery, equipment, and facility. This position performs several maintenance functions in and around the facility, including providing routine, emergency, and scheduled/preventative maintenance to the building and associated equipment, as well as groundskeeping work. What You Will Do • Coordinate with and assist the maintenance team with preventive maintenance and repairs and other tasks as assigned, • Monitor operation and proper use of all equipment and systems, • Properly document start and completion of assigned tasks using Monday.com tracker, • Maintain grounds, including but not limited to lawn maintenance, landscaping and snow/ice removal, • Help maintain irrigation systems and troubleshoot electrical issues, • Utilize, maintain and keep track of power tools and mobile equipment., • Conduct daily visual Inspections inside and outside of the facility, • Basic plumbing repairs such as plugged sewer lines, urinals, commodes, faucets and water valve., • Inspect, repair, and replace or install equipment/machinery such as fans, dehumidifiers, railings, lights, drives, doors, ramps, • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, • Report damages, defects and other issues to the Maintenance Supervisor, • Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure company standards and safety regulations are being maintained, • Adhere to compliance with health and safety standards and company policies and procedures, • Conduct regular sanitation duties, including but not limited to vacuuming and mopping floors, cleaning surfaces with disinfectant, emptying trash cans and recycling bins, cleaning restrooms, and other general cleaning duties, • Maintain cleaning inventory, work with manager to place orders when needed, • Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and scrub floors throughout the facility, • Clean and maintain breakroom, office areas, and facility in general, • Restock and replenish supplies as appropriate, • Make sure that all GMP and SOP paperwork is filled out neatly and correctly, • Regularly check the trash receptacles, emptying as needed, in all areas of the facility, • Collaborate with other maintenance workers as needed, • Desire to learn new skills in maintenance, • Some knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building equipment., • Basic knowledge of computers and printers, • A high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity, • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills, • Attention to detail is essential in this position., • Skilled in using basic tools, • Will be trained on the safe use of power tools, wrenches, and other shop equipment, • Capable of operating Forklifts and scissor lifts, • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and exercise independent judgment., • Demonstrate integrity and dedication and have a positive work attitude and strong work ethic., • Able to accurately follow multi-layered written/oral instructions., • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including MS Outlook, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment., • Self-driven, reliable, and hardworking, • Ability to work both in a team and independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills This position operates in or around cultivation and manufacturing environments. About the Job The Cultivation Technician performs labor to assist in the upkeep, stocking, and fulfillment of growing cannabis, including, but not limited to; watering, feeding, flushing, pruning, washing, cloning, transplanting, harvesting, and facility maintenance under the supervision of the Cultivation General Manager. Attention to detail is extremely important. What You Will Do • Perform all tasks in the indoor harvest grow, • Mother plant maintenance, cloning, transplanting, nutrients and pH management, water management, positive airflow, temperature and humidity control, pest and disease control, IPM program implementation, plant transfer from veg to flowering., • Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all plant needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to produce the best results for maximum plant yield., • Cataloguing and maintaining organization of plants, tags, and pruning biomass, • Knowledge of pest and disease control management a plus., • Maintain and follow the cultivation department policies and procedures., • Wash and sanitize all equipment. Scout all equipment, ensuring all tools are free of pests, viruses or disease., • Must be able to adapt to various strains, styles and types of cannabis they are cultivating; adjusting techniques to maintain a steady pace and quality., • Breakdown flowers off stem and stalk of plant to separate unusable waste from useable product; employee must track the amount of unusable waste for each batch., • Knowledge or experience with METRC compliance is a plus., • Demonstrate accurately and thoroughly in a timely manner to meet production standards., • Work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity., • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cultivation facility while performing job duties., • Exhibit competency in basic organizational, tracking and communication skills., • Works in a timely manner to efficiently meet goals while consistently producing quality product., • Employee must be able to follow basic instructions and take constructive feedback from their managers to maintain quality standards and production goals., • Employee must show up on time for work every day ready to work., • Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing patient medicine., • Cultivation staff is responsible for clean-up of all processing areas and equipment at the end of every shift. About the Job The Cultivation General Manager is responsible for the overall operational responsibility for all day- to-day cultivation and operation activities of the Buffalo cultivation facility. The General Manager will provide leadership to the cultivation crew, manage all farm operations and serve as a liaison to Senior Management and Supply Chain keeping them abreast of operational changes and challenges. The General Manager will lead with excellence the production of FLUENT with Connected's New York premium flower offering. What You Will Do • Manage the cultivation team across propagation, cultivation, harvest, drying, curing and trimming to produce consistent optimized high product indoor cannabis production, • Maintain product quality through post-harvest SOPs, including environmental and moisture monitoring, • Organize workflow and manage cultivation team's daily tasks ensuring work quality, • Manage execution of all planting schedules, plant maintenance, fertigation and, IPM tasks etc., • Manage all post harvest activities including dry, cure, bucking, hand and machine trim, • Maintain trim team to high productivity with sufficient and efficient staff headcount based on production throughput, • Objectively oversee QC inspection process to ensure all products meet brand standards, • Excellent communication and collaboration with cultivation leadership to ensure issues and necessary protocol shifts have proper alignment, • Strong management of cultivation and trim teams; provide clear direction on protocols, corrective actions and performance management, • Hiring to ensure a strong team dynamic and adequate staff to maintain production throughputs on all plant work, trimming etc, • Forecast production, transfers, compliance testing and inventory as needed with supply chain and distribution, • Ensure equipment is properly functioning and all equipment maintenance is up to date, facilitate repairs, upgrades and maintenance as needed, • Responsive to issues from environment alarms, security issues etc after normal business hours; indoor farms are 24/7, 365., • Be proactive with security protocols as needed, • Maintain a clean, pest and disease-free environment, • Ensure all practices and activities are compliant for all cannabis activities, • Provide site leadership and team scheduling during inclement weather conditions, • Manage snow removal and facility access during winter, • Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and cost savings, • Visit other cultivation sites to assess facility, plant and team opportunities in collaboration and alignment with cultivation leadership and colleagues, • Drive initiatives, research uptake, knowledge sharing and standardization through cross functional interactions with other cultivation teams and management., • Report back to leadership on site visits, any recommendations made and continued follow up with cultivation teams, • Other duties as assigned. What We Are Looking For • Minimum age of 21 years or older, • High school or equivalent, Degree in horticulture preferred, • 8+ years experience in cultivation or production management, • Expertise in indoor cultivation and with automated climate control indoor systems, • Strong knowledge of all internal current protocols, • Strong management and people skills to drive a positive productive team culture and accountability, • May require working rotating shifts with varied hours/day, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events, • Proven project management skills and experience managing complex deadlines, • Degree in Business Management, Horticulture Agriculture or other related field a plus, • Ability to operate within a tightly controlled track and trace environment, • Expert level knowledge of growing mediums, nutrient regimens, cultivation methodologies, environmental requirements and cultivation techniques., • Proficient understanding of cannabis laws, rules and regulations set forth by the state, • Fundamental knowledge, as well as the ability to be taught and guided in areas related to cultivation, • Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the company and the cultivation department., • Adhere to the company mission statement, while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism., • Must work well with others and ability to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure, methods and technique., • Use of independent judgment regarding product processing, keeping quality, projections and goals in mind., • Help create a proactive and positive environment; a positive attitude and self-motivation to help produce high quality product, while meeting and/or exceeding personal and/or company goals., • Ability to work with, help, guide, challenge and motivate other team members to create a cohesive unit., • Honestly identifies quality issues and raises them proactively to provide best path forward, • Follow basic instructions and ability to take constructive criticism from their managers to maintain quality standards and production goals., • Skill in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed., • Shows self-motivation/innovation and the ability to work well with all members of their staff and the company, as well as with their direct supervisor., • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and other co-workers., • Pesticide applicators license, • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office – strong Excel skills required, • Other duties and tasks as assigned. Compensation Description (annually): The salary range for this position in the selected city is $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Physical Requirements/Workplace Environment Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs. occasionally without assistance or 100 lbs. with assistance. Regularly required to perform carrying, grasping, lifting, walking, standing, some bending/crouching, stooping, stretching, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus. Able to be in varying temperature and humidity environmental conditions Work is performed in a fast-paced cannabis grow location.
